Americana Manor – Phase 1

Americana Manor is a showcase of how a thoughtfully designed basement can become the heart of a home. For these homeowners, finishing their basement was about more than adding square footage—it was about creating a space where family, friends, and neighbors could gather, celebrate, and enjoy life together.

Before any design elements could take shape, the project required significant behind-the-scenes work. Our team relocated the home’s HVAC system, water supply and filtration, and all electrical service to maximize the usable footprint. To open up the layout, we installed six steel plates in the ceiling, allowing for the safe removal of a load-bearing wall. These structural and mechanical upgrades created the foundation for a space that could fully support the homeowners’ vision.

Because the homeowners love to entertain—especially hosting large poolside gatherings—the design centered around seamless indoor-outdoor living. A set of 21-foot bi-folding glass doors now opens the basement directly to the pool and outdoor kitchen, creating a natural flow between spaces and allowing summer parties to extend effortlessly indoors.

Inside, the new layout offers a full kitchen anchored by an oversized island, perfect for serving meals and drinks to a crowd. A hidden walk-in pantry ensures that storage is both practical and discreet, while a custom wine display wall with glass doors and integrated lighting adds a touch of elegance for evening entertaining. The living room features white oak faux beams overhead, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for relaxing or hosting guests.

Just beyond the main living area, the gaming zone was designed as a true entertainment hub. Surrounded by a pool table, foosball table, dartboard, and arcade machine, the space is anchored by a striking white oak tongue-and-groove accent wall that gives the room a distinctive focal point and a sense of casual sophistication.

Other special touches include a hidden safe room for peace of mind and refinished stairs connecting the basement to the main house. Throughout the design, the homeowners’ personal style comes through—including subtle patriotic décor that reflects their love for country and inspired the project’s name: Americana Manor.
